Inaugural Cruise On Carnvial Splendor

30 mile an hour winds in my hair as we approach the Golden Gate Bride from high atop Carnival's brand new FunShip. We love the call of the sea, but this is riduculous! Kim, Janelle and I find the spot of least resistance in the wind......right behind the area we guess houses the ship's dryers. There's a Fabreeze smell to the air and  the warm exhaust is keeps us from freezing. A definite Bucket List experience.......sailing under the Gate out into the expanse of the Pacific Ocean. What a thrill went up my spine at the very spot where the ship sailed under her.
